About Ezra
I have a PhD in Creative Writing, have been lecturing at university for five years and tutoring for ten.
I really enjoy helping people find what they want to say, and am familiar with many exam board requirements to help you fit what you want to say to the grade you need.
I'm a friendly and patient tutor, and have particular experience working with students with dyslexia.

If you're struggling with your essay writing (in any subject) I can help you with structuring elements like finding core points, organising an argument, and concluding a thesis. That down, we can look at the mechanics of writing, including forming a paragraph, sentence structure, word choice, and grammar.
In the past I've helped some students from the minute they've got their questions, while others have brought first drafts to me and we've taken it from there.
Creatively, I'll work with you to establish your goals, and help you with your novel, play, story, prose, or poetry, from big-picture issues of plotting and structure, to the minutiae of word choice and sentence structure. I'm a published novelist and poet, and have taught Creative Writing at university, mentoring countless writers and helping them improve their works.
