About WULIYAH
Wuliyah is a mixed media artist that specializes in mixed media painting, drawing, collage and curation. Starting her artistic career in 2019, she now operates out of Toronto, Ontario. Wuliyah is the assistant director of the Worth Gallery residing downtown Toronto.
She works independently and with others to produce artworks along with exhibitions relating to women, women of color, cultural storytelling and personal exploration. Moonlighting in gallery operations, she has spent countless hours observing and teaching artwork that disrupts the current status quo of mainstream art.

Excellence and inclusive thought play are the undertone to Wuliyah's teaching philosophy. Students will find a place where multidisciplinary art represents the balance of the surreal and natural forms that provoke thinking. The use of expression is a cornerstone of Wuliyah's current work. Allowing a variety of artists/students to conjure emotions that they are interested in representing. Wanting to reclaim art to be reflective of the human experience, students working with Wuliyah will learn how to translate and infuse storytelling and personal perspectives into their artwork.
Whether they are beginners or more advanced in their artistic understanding, Wuliyah brings a unique perspective to those who are interested in mixed media art practice.
