About Ethan

I am a full-time College student studying Further Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. I achieved a grade 9 in AQA GCSE Computer Science and recently received (in Summer 2024) an A* in A-Level Mathematics, meaning I can offer modern and relevant tuition to students.

At GCSE, I achieved grade 9 (A**) in both Maths and Computer Science.

Having worked at Kumon since I started college, I know exactly how to teach young people the subjects I am most confident in.

About the lesson

Interactive Lessons: As an A-level student myself, I know very well that nobody learns by being spoken to for an hour. In order to maximise learning and engagement, I utilise Google Meet and Google Docs to deliver lessons centred around student participation. Every lesson will be full of live demonstrations followed by questions for students to complete as consolidation. These will be shared with students after each lesson for use as an aid to revision. Flexible Options: Depending on your preference, lessons can be one-to-one or grouped (at a discounted price). This allows students to benefit from learning in an environment they favour most. Student Focused: Not every student has the same goals when opting for tuition: some want to consolidate learning done in school, while others wish to get ahead of their class. I am here to provide a personalised service to each student so they are able to get the most value from my sessions. Adaptable & Continuous Support: I am aware that students may have burning questions to bring to me over the course of the week, or even in lessons. I am available all week to help with homework and more than happy to edit lesson plans to provide the support my students truly need. I highly prioritise communication and rely on feedback from students and parents/guardians to ensure that the service I am giving you is truly invaluable. I look forward to teaching you soon!
