About Jasmin
With particular interests in mathematics and chemistry, I have a wide range of qualifications in other subjects, achieving 13 A*s and 2As at GCSE at another top grammar school, including mathematics and further mathematics. In the summer of 2018, I achieved 3 A*s across all my A-level subjects - mathematics, chemistry and biology, averaging 94% in my maths exams. I am currently studying Chemistry at the University of Nottingham, where I have been shortlisted for the prestigious Ficken Award, which notices the most outstanding applicants of the subject.
I have tutored 3 students ranging from ages 9 to 12, and I am currently tutoring 4 students ranging from ages 11 to 16.
I have also had experience in tutoring a child of 5 years of age in piano (who progressed quickly to grade 1 in just 3 months).
Volunteering at a primary school during the summer of 2016 helped me to gain an insight into working with young children, as well as motivating me further to tutor students in subjects I am passionate about.

Having been a student myself at one of the top grammar schools in the country, I believe I am able to offer tuition in a way that is different to a classroom lesson. I firmly believe each student is individual and has unique learning styles; I pride myself in being able to relate to a student well and therefore I can adapt quickly to explain concepts and solve problems in a way that suits your child best, whether it be visual learning, verbal or even physical.
