About Delma
Tutoring started for me by helping classmates cram before deadlines, and that simple format stuck throughout my 12 years of practice. You might find it relieving to know that I specialize in helping former childhood players return to the violin without any shame or regret. I hold a MMus in Violin from the Yale School of Music, which informs how I guide pupils from complete beginners to serious performers. It is deeply rewarding to see a student grasp one complex idea properly instead of skimming over 5 separate topics during our time together.

Honestly, keeping a running record of what works is how I ensure progress stays visible. My Yale MMus background means we focus strictly on posture and hold, music theory, and tone production.
Shifting positions, ABRSM or Trinity exam prep, and sight reading are central parts of my method. We also cover tuning by ear, orchestral playing, and scales. You receive free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson to keep you on track.
It is 10.0 out of 10 for clarity. Feel free to reach out if you want to play again.
