About Abril

I am a current junior at Yale University majoring in biomedical engineering. I have taken all math classes up to Discrete Math and have over 7 years of tutoring experience across all fields. I work hard to ensure my tutoring is effective for every one of my students. I love finding creative ways to help students learn and also engage with their subjects. It is my goal that they will not only improve in their subjects, but leave with a new sense of appreciation for learning.

About the lesson

I specialize in tutoring mathematics and preparing students for any college exams.

Mathematics courses that I tutor in include algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus 1/AB. I also aid in college exam prep, including the SAT and ACT.

I pride myself in being a patient and kind tutor. I love getting to know students and finding creative ways to efficiently teach them, while also growing a passion for the subject. It is my strong belief that anyone can learn anything with the right teacher!

In your first lesson with me, I will get to know you and the areas you need help in to personalize your experience. The rest of the lesson will be used to help you in your subjects.
