About Brooklyn
I am fun and patient person, who has a love for math and teaching. I strive to one day teach math at university level so this would be great practice to get my technique down pat and find a method of teaching that not only works for me but also the student.

My method of teaching revolves around what works for the student, whatever makes it easier for the child to understand.
For younger kids who may have difficulties staying focused for long periods of time, I would make it into a game and give them a catered reward when they finish so they feel accomplished and not like they were doing work.
For the older kids, I would lay everything out in detail and explain as slow or as quickly as they need me to while working through everything with them instead of just sitting there and having them struggle by themselves.
I'm also happy to do lessons any time after they finish school till 7pm at the latest. I can even do weekends from 9am-6pm.
