About Yasmin
I am a year 12 student currently attending Saint Kentigern College. I want to pursue engineering in university and although it is a hard degree, it’s something I enjoy. I remember struggling (especially with science) when I first entered College, mainly because intermediate’s barely cover the topic. Although I enjoyed science, I never really graded well on tests, simply because I struggling to grasp the concepts. However, with some effort, help and hard studying, I finally started to understand things- that’s when it became interesting. I am now an Excellence endorsed student in science and extremely enjoy having physics and chemistry on my timetable. I would like to give other young students, who enjoy subjects like science and math but may not necessarily get good grades, to have the same opportunity that I did.

I have my restricted license and live in East Auckland, therefore can drive to anywhere in that area. Can also do zoom calls. I have always been told by friends and classmates that I explain things in a clear and understandable way. I also have some background in tutoring primary students (when I was in intermediate) in math. I would be happy to help anyone from year 8-11 currently struggling with the subjects I have listed.
