About Ophelia

I’m a very friendly person as my close circle would say, but definitely say things as I see them, so if you get something wrong I will tell you straight up but then we can figure out why it's wrong and what needs changing. I love running and I watch a lot of football both live and on the TV, so if you want to distract me ask me a question about that.

About the lesson

My lessons are targeted at year 10/11 GCSE AQA geography students who are struggling with the subject or just want some help to achieve their best grade. I start the lesson by asking for either 1 broad or 3 key topic areas that they are struggling with and start by breaking them down and going over the content, before then applying the content to exam questions following clear structures as you have to use in the exam. We would then go through and mark it together highlighting any areas that are still blurred, I then set a few questions or task before another session to make sure the content we cover is actively being remembered. The length of a session would typically be anywhere from an hour to 90mins depending on what content the student would like to cover. I have been tutoring for friends and family who have been struggling in lesson with the content and have all said that having someone away from the classroom to go over it has massively helped them.
