About Yasantha
I am currently teaching mathematics to my two children, who are in Year 10 and Year 4. In the past, I have also taught high school physics. I have a passion for breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations using relatable examples. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy.

Understanding Year 7 mathematical concepts is very important, as it forms the foundation for all future year levels.
Many students often attempt to solve maths problems without truly understanding the underlying concepts. If this pattern continues, mathematics can become one of the most difficult subjects for them. Without developing proper mathematical thinking at the right time, it becomes increasingly challenging to overcome these difficulties later on.

I offer tutoring for Year 7 students in Mathematics, focusing on:
