About Jessica
My main intention is to get you those grades! As someone who has just finished her GCSEs, I know the pressure to get the grades that feel impossible. Whether it's the grades you need to pass, the grades to get you up a set or to get your straight nines, I am ready to prepare you for all different kinds of questions. Maybe your school explains the key topics but never shows you how to apply them; we will put those skills into practice so you never look at a question and leave it blank. As a high-achieving student, I believe that a question should never be left blank. If it’s hard, take a look, think about anything you can write down. If you have no clue how to answer, then you're missing something foundational that I'm happy to go over with you. I’m looking to make sure you can at least get some marks, if not all, on those hard questions.

Begin the lesson with a generic worksheet on different topics. Note what topic the student finds difficult and work through more similar questions and then allow the student to work on a question alone. If that is right, redo this process. If there is a topic the student has specifically struggled with in the lesson, then I will use the same method. In order to aid the student, I will use analogies and continuous practice to the point where they almost feel fed up to ensure they understand it confidently and not just to a specific example.
Lessons should be for KS3 and GCSE students of higher, foundation and further mathematics level. Lessons will be an hour long to ensure enough is completed as a lesson.
