About Aliyah
I am a student myself which allows me to relate to not understanding or having trouble with a topic in an academic environment. I believe that a positive learning experience is the best way for a student to retain knowledge and make it a priority to provide that. Though I am new to tutoring, I have helped my peers and friends understand different math topics for many years. I love helping people understand math and pride myself in showing others how fun math can be when you know what you're doing!

I like to focus on finding out what aspect of the math skill is not understood by the student and do my best to explain it in a simple and easy way. My goal is to inform and improve understanding in a positive and encouraging manner! I would be able to do this with Elementary to Middle School levels. Identifying what skill or lesson is specifically causing a problem will help me better prepare a plan to help in the most efficient way.
