About Maria
Hi my name is Maria and I'm a 26 year old graduated medical doctor from Barts and the London University.
During the pandemic when everyone was sent into lockdown, I spent a lot of time helping my sister, who was in year 9 at the time (now going into year 11), with her GCSE work as she worked from home. I really enjoyed reliving my GCSE days and rereading through the content as well as being able to teach it to her. It made me realise that I have an interest in tutoring others and that I would like the pursue it further.
I can offer teaching in GCSE Maths, English, History, Psychology, and Sciences.
I can also offer Medicine Interview tutoring.
My qualifications are 11 A*s at GCSE and 42 out of 45 points in the International Baccalaureate

My teaching style is very interactive and wanting to ensure that the skills are taught first before moving on to the content of a subject. I also like to use a lot of resource packs so that the student would have content to refer back to while doing work of their own to aid their learning.
