About Ella
Hi, my name is Ella! I'm a sixteen year old girl who just sat her GCSE's- and I am looking to raise some funds to my upcoming trip to Borneo in July 2019- where I will be helping students and local people by teaching them and building a classroom. I have a passion for music, and have been playing the trumpet, cornet and flugelhorn since I was 10. I have my grade 8 for these instruments, as well as a grade 8 in ensemble music for both a brass band and jazz band. I equally love guitar and ukelele- and have selftaught myself these instruments. My approach to teaching is very practical. I believe there is no better way to learn something than to try it. My target audience to teach would be budding musicians ready to start their learning in one of the instruments I can teach. For basic music theory, anyone who is a beginner would be perfect. This is the same for guitar and ukelele. For trumpet, cornet, flugel horn, baritone or french horn, I am able to tutor a much higher level- but also at beginer level. For those just starting- if the lessons are in person I have a trumpet or cornet that can be used so there is no need to buy one.
