About Lee
Having been a high school math teacher for 2 years, I have made many positive connections and academic impacts on my students, including convincing a few students to pursue independent research for class discussions and other students to find a passion in mathematics that they have told me they would have never found otherwise. I have been AP Statistics certified and tutoring for students of all ages since the first day of teaching, as well as been the first choice for substituting for other math teachers, which usually involves leading a new lesson that the returning teacher would praise me for on return.

My tutoring methods focus on establishing where the confusion is by having the student walk through their solution method one step at a time until we reach the roadblock. Once we reach the roadblock, we dissect the misunderstanding and I develop alternative examples to ensure the student understands the concepts properly and effectively.
What has set me apart from other tutors at my school is my young age and my adaptability/flexibility with younger audiences. I graduated at the age of 22 and went straight into teaching afterwards, which has allowed me to relate and understand my younger students much more consistently than other teachers.
I am a high-school teacher that primarily teachers seniors/juniors, although I have taught Algebra for freshmen in this past year.
