About Carson
I am a dedicated musician who aims to receive a degree in music education and performance after high school. I have teaching experience through teaching sixth-grade honor band students and from being my school's flute section leader. I have also performed in several groups and venues including JCCC and Kauffman Center, as well as being a member of the Kansas All-State Band for the past two years. I have played in my school's Jazz Band, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Symphony and Pit Orchestra.

I most value finding enjoyment in music and creating personalized paths for each student to succeed. A typical lesson plan would include rhythm, technique, and tone exercises followed by choice pieces students want help with or music from school. As a high school student I can provide a flexible schedule and a better understanding with students.
