I've been playing piano for more than 20 years. I started piano at age 4, achieved 3 diplomas in piano by age 14. Since 2009, I have taught more than 60 students.

About the lesson

I love seeing my students make progress. My mission is to inspire patience, hard work, and a love for music at an early age. These values and musical abilities have helped me in my success beyond my career in music. My teaching methods include:

1. Achieving RCM 8 and above - RCM examinations provide a good curriculum for parents with children that want to achieve RCM 8 before high school begins.

2. Taking self-taught piano to the next level - as an avid printer of sheet music, I enjoy helping students learn to play their favourite sheet music, especially to play in front of friends at parties. Adult students welcome.

I met Lucien through a friend in Vancouver. He happened to live near my home in Richmond. Lucien has the patience of a saint when it comes learning piano, but he also has high standards. If you're serious about making progress, he might be a good fit for you.

So far he has helped me learn the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, and popular sheet music by the Beatles. If you want to make real progress in piano without wasting time and money, I would highly recommend Lucien.
