About Maya
I am a year 11 student who has always helped tutor students at my school during lunch times and would like to extend help to people from other schools. I truly believe that every student is different and needs their own patient teaching style in order to fully understand and retain the GCSE course material, sometimes the only way to get this is through a tutor. Being a year 11 student myself, I can relate to students greatly and will adapt my teaching to your learning style. I am very patient and will make sure you understand everything necessary for your GCSE course. I will help with exam revision, homework or just general understanding of the subject. When tutoring a friend of mine, we managed to take her average grade from a low 5 to a high 7. I can work after school, from 4:30, and I will work whenever suits you on weekends.
