About Nick
I am a year 12 student and Lancaster Royal Grammar School, studying A level biology, chemistry and maths and am set to sit these exams in 2023. I am predicted A*A*A* and received 9x9sand 1x8 in my GCSEs. I have experience tutoring in my school and have tutored this one student for nearly a year now. He unfortunately missed a whole year of GCSE learning and since started with him, I brought his grade up from 5 to 8 in biology. I am able to communicate with the student and their parents to encourage the best out of them so that everyone is happy.

I believe for the student to get the best out of their lesson, I, the teacher, need to modify the way I teach and communicate and make it more useful and enjoyable for them. My teaching method will be unique for all students. Lessons will be different to what students have in school because sometimes, they learn better in a more friendly and relaxed environment and that is what I aim for my lessons to be. I also think it is important to get an idea of where the student aspires to be and their target grade. This way I can plan the sessions accordingly.
