I take a flexible approach to learning; I will focus on topics where students say they struggle in and change my tutoring style to best suit them. For example, for more confident students we will focus on tackling difficult exam questions. I ensure that students have a good understanding of the topic first by explaining ideas and methods as best I can, then moving on to exam-style questions to practice good exam technique.
