About Halimat
Hi, I'm Halimat, a year 13 student who wants to help others succeed and improve in their subjects. As someone with dyslexia, I understand that everyone learns differently, and with that, I can develop strategies to make tricky concepts easier to understand. I like to make students feel confident in asking questions and help them progress to reach their goals.

Initially, sessions will begin with a Gestalt approach to identify areas of weaker understanding in subject matter. Once this main weakness is identified, the content will be explained in a manner that allows the student to freely ask questions, as well as encourages them to think more deeply and build confidence in that area. They will then be handed practice questions to evaluate if further guidance is needed. They will also be given exam questions to gain an advantage in the correct use of exam techniques and get them used to exam-style questions. I am a year 13 student currently studying Maths, Chemistry and Biology, with my predicted A Level grades being AAA and 7-7 in combined science. I tutor KS3 and GCSE students, particularly in biology and chemistry, and the typical length of my lesson takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
