About Vicky
I am a dedicated Year 11 Chinese student with strong academic results in math and science. I am currently studying advanced courses (AS mathematics, AS Biology, Physics, and chemistry). I have got first in Extension Mathematics in Year 9 and first in Science in Year 10, and top 25% achiever in APSMO. I have also got both distinction award in year 9 and 10 for AMC. As a current student, I understand the challenges that many younger students face and can explain difficult concepts in a clear and simple way.chinese

My tutoring focuses on explaining ideas step-by-step so students truly understand the topic rather than just memorising answers. I usually start by reviewing what the student is currently learning at school, then explain the concept, work through examples together, and finally let the student practise similar questions that I did before while I guide them. I also help students with homework, exam preparation, and problem-solving techniques.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, which allows enough time to review concepts, practise questions, and answer any difficulties the student has. If needed, different time lessons can also be arranged.
These lessons are suitable for Year 7–10 students who want help with maths or science, including students who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their grades, or prepare for future exams.
As a current student studying advanced maths and science, I understand the common difficulties students face. I also have sets of study notes which may help students better get ideas.
I would prefer writing notes down so students could bring the notes home.
