About Sofia
I am currently completing Year 12 with a strong focus on Mathematics Extension 2, and I have developed a genuine interest in teaching and mentoring younger students. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience and strategies. Tutoring allows me to share my knowledge, strengthen my communication skills, and help students improve both their confidence and results. I take pride in being organized, supportive, and committed to student progress.

I teach maths by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, logical steps and encouraging students to verbalise their reasoning so they gain deeper understanding, not just memorisation. Every lesson is personalised to each student’s needs, whether it’s improving foundational skills or preparing for assessments. Lessons can run from 1 to 3 hours depending on preference. I tutor primary maths, Year 7–10 maths, and Year 11 Standard, Advanced and Extension. I am a current Year 12 student completing Mathematics Extension 2, so I understand current content and NESA expectations first-hand.
