About Kushleen
I am a high-achieving Year 11 prefect at Fullhurst Community College with strong analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills, as demonstrated by my top grades in GCSE Maths, Business, and my favourite subject, Geography. Passionate about pursuing a legal career to fight for justice and navigate complex challenges, I plan to study A-level Law, Sociology, and Psychology or Business next year to keep my future university and career options wide open. My diverse skill set is backed by an award-winning academic record, a week of intensive work experience at Gingerbread Nursery—which heavily developed my teamwork, leadership, and adaptable communication styles—and a dedication to fitness and traditional Punjabi Giddha dancing. Having moved from Italy in 2019, I am incredibly proud of my vibrant cultural heritage and my multilingual abilities in English and Punjabi, alongside understanding Urdu and Hindi. As a recent Year 11 graduate who has just tackled the Higher Maths GCSE, I offer targeted, one-hour tutoring sessions specifically designed for Year 10 and 11 students. My teaching methodology focuses on a "near-peer" approach—translating complex topics into plain English using the exact shortcuts, memory tricks, and exam-cracking strategies that helped me succeed. Instead of rigid textbook lecturing, I use an interactive "I do, we do, you do" structure to break down tough topics and confidently decode tricky mark schemes. Whether a student is aiming to secure a strong pass or push into the grade 7–9 bracket, my firsthand experience with the current curriculum allows me to provide the relatable, stress-free mentorship they need to ace their exams.
