About Amil

My name is Amil Ramkissoon. I am a 16 year old male in year 12 that simply enjoys maths as a subject. I’m looking for job experience, and I came to try and find it here because I believe that I can become a great tutor for the younger children, such as children in primary school because I have a passion for mathematics, I have a broad understanding of the subject and I have previously taught the subject to younger friends that I have. Out of everything I could have chose for job experience, trying to get a place here says a lot. I will strive to get the best out of my students. I am a hard working person; I never give up easily, and I believe that putting this mentality into my students will allow them to achieve good grades. I believe that a child to child conversation is better than a teacher to child one, because the student will have a better understanding when I interact with them.

About the lesson

I do not mind teaching anything to do with mathematics, as I am comfortable about most topics. I will be very patient with students. My aim is to teach them in a way that makes the subject more interesting to them, therefore making it easier to memorise content, as people tend to remember things they find interesting. Teaching maths is very fun for me, which is why I think I will be a good personal tutor. Maths is my specialised subject. I believe that I can get students engaged into mathematics and give them a wider perspective of the subject, so that they understand it better.

His strongest subject is mathematics and can explain clearly to those either in or starting the GCSE course. He understands the the curriculum well and for any of those who do need an extra push he is taking A level maths hoping to achieve an A or an A*. I strongly do recommend him a tutor.
