About Mackenzie
As a 4-year varsity tennis player with experience in both singles and doubles, I bring a strong understanding of the game along with firsthand knowledge of effective coaching. I have taken numerous private and group lessons myself, which allows me to understand how to clearly communicate techniques and help players improve efficiently.
I also have experience coaching young children in group settings, working with a wide range of skill levels and backgrounds. I take pride in being patient, reliable, and kind while creating a positive and structured learning environment.
My goal is to help each player build confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy the game through personalized lessons.

My approach is all about keeping lessons simple, fun, and personalized. I break down techniques step-by-step and demonstrate movements so players can really understand what they’re doing. Each lesson usually includes a warm-up, focused drills, and some live play to apply what we worked on.
I adjust my coaching to fit each player’s level and learning style, whether they’re just starting out or looking to improve. Having played varsity and taken many lessons myself, I know how to explain things clearly and keep players engaged.
My lessons are great for all ages, especially beginners to intermediate players who want to build confidence and improve their game. I don't bite and would love to have fun!
