About Shelly
My years of teaching include biology, chemistry, physics, Earth science, environmental science, anatomy/physiology, astronomy, and multiple variations of honors courses. I have also taught ACT and SAT prep courses, as well as college prep classes.
Though mycore employment is within the classroom, I have also taught self defense, K9 education, and search and rescue K9 training.
I believe learning can take place anywhere. This is why I became a travel agent, which has a lot of fun and a lot of opportunities for personal growth.
I look forward to extending my experience and knowledge with new students!

The initial lesson will be spent obtaining basic information about the content, class, desired schedules, needs of the students, and planning the best plan of action to reach the goals discussed.
It is important for me to understand how I can best plan for the sessions so our time together can maximize the time spent on the content of each lesson.
The expectations for the students include being prepared to participate and open to a variety of instructional methods. I order for there to be success, students must play an active role in their learning.
I ask that parents and other members of the household provide a quiet environment with limited distractions so that the student is able to focus on the lessons. I believe students need positive reinforcement from all those around them because a little encouragement goes a long way.
