I have loved being a teacher for the last 17 years. I have thrived through that time by developing a mutual respect with my students.
My experience helps me to know what things make a student uncomfortable and when a learning method is not right. I work hard to avoid those situations and find alternative methods.

I specialize in teaching Algebra concepts but have experience teaching all levels of high school. I have worked extensively with English learners and students on individual education plans.
I work hard to connect new concepts to concepts that you already know. I am consistent in my methods. I move at a measured pace and write neatly and in an organized manner.
I love to include connections to things that you are passionate about outside of class, but I won't make it goofy or forced!
I have designed lessons for nearly all Algebra concepts. Many contain activities that you may find fun!
