About Leonora
Returning to Algebra after a long gap meant I had to relearn how it felt to be truly rusty. I now use those 6 years of experience to help homeschoolers and honors students find their footing. I work with people starting from zero and those stuck halfway through their current coursework.
Precision matters to me, but not at the cost of someone switching off during our time together. I have had the opportunity to mentor many learners over the years.
Helping someone move from saying I am just not a math person to having steady confidence is my primary goal. Whether you are a college student or struggling with math, I want you to find it less intimidating than you do now.
We keep a running record of what has landed and what has not. It is important to stay steady. I am here to help you get there.

Progress often happens when we stop focusing solely on the right answer and start examining why a mistake occurred in the first place. My degree from Georgia Tech shapes how I break down systems of equations, factoring, polynomials, rational expressions, completing the square, linear equations, exponents, and radicals.
You will receive session recordings to review whenever you need extra clarity on a topic. I rely on my 6 years of experience to adjust the pace based on your unique needs. We can revisit old concepts until they feel like second nature. Let me know if you would like to start.
