About Courtney
Standing behind a mic for 7 years convinced me that singing is about survival just as much as melody. I work with singers who need to conquer stage fear and maintain vocal health while performing consistently.
My 178 students have taught me that vocal range extension is a physical act rather than a mental one. We address head and chest voice, microphone technique, and harmony singing to build your confidence. I use warm-up exercises that reflect my background in gospel and blues traditions to get you ready for any stage. I am here to help you own the room.

Actually, we usually start by listening to a recent performance recording to see where you are struggling. Since I review these together with you each month, we get a clear picture of your progress. You might find that microphone technique feels awkward at first, but we fix that quickly through simple adjustments. We focus on your specific vocal needs, keeping the tone light and direct.
It is a 10.0 experience that puts your voice first. I make sure you leave the session sounding better than when you arrived.
