About Cynthia
I have 18+ years as a public school teacher in Los Angeles County, California. I also have taught elementary and middle school on 2 different Native American Indian reservations in New Mexico. In addition, I tutored for two years at an orphanage in Mexico, in Spanish (though English is my native language). I was my school district's mentor for bilingual education.

I use traditional teaching strategies, positive motivation, and lots of smiles to bring your child to the next level in their educational goals! I like teaching through songs, games, and playful hands-on activities that blend core academic skills with everyday fun. I specialize in K-3rd grade and am a certificated reading specialist.
