About Raquel
Graduating with a BS in Biology and Chemistry from UC Berkeley grounded my scientific perspective in rigorous research. I spent 12 years teaching in high schools before transitioning into full-time tutoring 3 years ago.
My students regularly improve from B or C grades to A marks. Many have achieved 5s on their AP exams.
I provide expert guidance on data analysis, graphs, and DNA or RNA structure. Mitosis, meiosis, and the circulatory system remain core focus areas. Genetics, inheritance, and homeostasis are critical topics I cover for undergraduates.
I also assist with lab report writing, photosynthesis, respiration, and evolution. It is quite rewarding to see these academic concepts finally click for my students.
