About Lilia
"Teaching started for me in DC after finishing my studies at UChicago. Clarity is essential. I spent 13 years refining a system that helps adults actually use the language rather than just study for a test.
Over 422 students have trusted me for AP Spanish and DELE preparation. My methodology follows the Instituto Cervantes standard. I specialize in Peninsular Spanish and clear Madrid pronunciation. Please reach out if you want to chat about your goals."

"Starting with a free trial lesson allows me to assess your current level accurately. This first meeting is direct and simple.
We examine your goals using my 13 years of instructional background to guide the path. My MA from UChicago informs how I structure our dialogue and writing practice.
We focus on listening skills, everyday phrases, and essential vocabulary building. You will notice the difference that formal training makes. I emphasize practical application over memorization. The session is always conversational and structured."
