About Donovan
Singers of all backgrounds often find themselves hitting a wall with their projection or confidence. My training at the Boston Conservatory as a voice principal defines how I operate. I bridge the gap between piano and voice because singers should learn to accompany themselves.
13 years of teaching has taught me much. Dealing with stage fear management is vital. Vocal health and care are essential, while harmony singing remains an art.
Tone and resonance are crucial. Microphone technique is often overlooked. Head and chest voice registers need balance. It really comes down to the basics.
