About Lyra
I am a committed singing tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Vocal Studies. I have worked with beginners and advanced learners, helping them refine technique, expand vocal range, and build confidence through structured and encouraging instruction tailored to individual goals.
My teaching style is patient, adaptable, and highly student-focused. I believe every voice is unique, so I design lessons that develop natural strengths while addressing technical challenges. My goal is to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel safe to grow and experiment musically.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring different vocal traditions, writing songs, and attending live performances. These experiences inspire my teaching and allow me to bring fresh creativity, real-world musical insight, and artistic depth into every lesson I conduct.

My singing lessons are designed to help students develop strong vocal technique while discovering their personal musical identity. Each session is fully customised to match your current ability, vocal range, and musical interests, ensuring a structured yet enjoyable learning experience that supports consistent and measurable progress over time.
We focus on core areas such as breath support, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, resonance, diction, articulation, range expansion, and performance skills. Lessons include warm-ups, technical drills, and song practice across genres like pop, classical, jazz, and musical theatre to develop versatility and confidence.
I encourage students to sing with freedom while maintaining healthy vocal habits. Through guided practice, supportive feedback, and goal-oriented exercises, learners gradually strengthen their voice, improve expression, and gain the confidence needed to perform comfortably in both practice and stage environments.
