You receive a diagnostic level test before we build the plan to ensure every minute counts toward your specific goals. We sit down together and map out the exact grammar rules or vocabulary lists that currently block your progress. This assessment informs the structure of our sessions as we move from basic listening practice into professional business French.
My BA from U of T informs the precise, calm approach I use to tackle your writing skills and liaison technique. Verb conjugation patterns and the subtle placement of nasal sounds become clear when you understand how these linguistic mechanics actually function. My ears still hear the distinct streets of Quebec City where I grew up speaking French daily. I earned my BA in French and ESL at U of T to sharpen this natural ability into a teaching craft. Writing skills and pronunciation are the core of what I teach to my students.
