About Derek

I'm Derek Roland. I've been teaching others guitar for over 20 years; and have been playing myself for 27 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be guided by a player who has taught literally thousands over the years; and has lived and taught internationally. I went to school for Jazz Guitar Studies and started instructing professionally while going to college. On the side, I write guitar eBooks, guitar blogs, create songs, along with instructional material like video courses. My teaching style is motivational, interactive, and focused on problem-solving within the realm of music. Students love my lessons because I create a supportive and engaging environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential. Many have found great success and made significant progress under my guidance.

About the lesson

24 years of experience getting RESULTS for students online and in person as well as group trainer: I can give you a FUN approach to guitar made EASY. You'll get the mindset, toolset and skill set for rapid growth on guitar!

Over a span of time, I developed a formula for better results when practicing- one to maximize time, two to maximize outcomes of better playing. You may have gotten overwhelmed in the information age, or plateaued, or maybe get confused trying to figure out how things work together on guitar- but it doesn’t have to be that way. You’ve come to the right place to make all those connections second nature in your playing.
