About Kevin

I am Kevin, a master's graduate from Swansea University. I come from an academic background of rigorous analytical studies in business. I have been in this field since 2014 and I am continuing to improve and develop knowledge in it. What inspires me to teach is a desire to see young ones increase in knowledge, and the mere joy of imparting what I know into others makes it all the worthwhile.

About the lesson

I believe in a Socratic approach, that is, where the tutor and the student have an interactive debate based on the topic learnt that day. This would engage deeper learning and elicit better understanding into the subject area. There would be more questions and drills before getting to this stage which would be the climax for the day.

Perfect! Kevin assisted me with my first year uni business accounting papers. I had failed the paper on first attempt, dreading having to resit and not feeling confident - it was delighted when I stumbled upon Kevin. As first I thought he might be the best tutor due to his price being less than many of the others. However, he was perfect for me, he had recently completed the same undergraduate degree I was entering into and knew what I was facing. With his support both in person lesson and via zoom, he helped me find within the tools I needed to understand and feel confident in retaking the paper. I passed, I would recommend Kevin and look for him to work with me again if need (Swansea). Kevin is honest, fair and supportive. Thanks Kevin. Angus
