My BEd degree provides the framework for these interactions, focusing on presentation skills and clarity. I help you navigate the nuances of the English language so you stop second-guessing your word choices. We tackle academic writing requirements and listening comprehension tasks until they feel like second nature. It is simply about practice."

"Spending 7 years in this field has taught me that the hardest part of language acquisition is not the rules, but the lack of an immediate outlet for practice. Truthfully, I often forget that I am switching between languages until a student points out my transition.
I grew up bilingual in Quebec City and naturally developed a sensitivity to the gaps between academic English and professional communication. My time at U of T provided the formal framework for the ESL techniques I use today. I have had the privilege of guiding 414 students through the complexities of phrasal verbs and idioms.
Working with university applicants and professionals keeps my methods sharp and relevant to real world demands. I provide a calm and precise environment where we strip away the intimidation factor. It is quite a rewarding experience to watch someone start to speak with total clarity."
