About Marilyn
Singing felt natural to me once I stopped overthinking the air in my lungs. My Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music gave me the theory, but the 362 students I have taught gave me the real wisdom. I use my 5 years of experience to make sure your technique remains sound. I keep things loose while maintaining a solid structure.
My method relies on the songs you enjoy singing most. You will find me at your door with a guitar in hand and a portable amp ready. It is a simple way to get to work without any fuss.

Picture the sound of your voice hitting the back wall of a room with ease. I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes so you can practice outside our time. Performance focused students gain a lot from my focus on vocal health and care.
Advanced learners often need help with microphone technique or harmony singing. Teens and grade exam candidates use these sessions to sharpen their pitch control and extend their range. We mix in rhythm and phrasing to make sure your stage presence feels authentic.
