About Charowal
Imagine the sound of a classic chanson drifting through the room as we begin our session. I blend my background in music with language training to ensure you hear the natural cadence of the tongue. My 13 years of experience allow me to pivot between business French and casual dialogue practice effortlessly.
We incorporate role play to ensure you feel prepared for real world scenarios. Sometimes we look at listening practice using original recordings. It is intense but rewarding work.
I find that building vocabulary through context is superior to rote memorization. This is how we make progress. Just show up and we will take it from there.

Spending 13 years refining my craft means I have seen every hurdle a student can face when learning a new language. Honestly, I sometimes find grammar books as dry as toast. My BA in French Studies from Concordia University provides the structural backbone for my lessons, while my life in Marseille adds the authentic flavor you need. I specialize in helping working professionals, hobbyists, and those navigating immigration or relocation.
You get free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes, which keeps things efficient and organized. We can work on writing skills or focus on everyday phrases for beginners.
