About Tamilah
Teaching piano became the natural next step after 13 years of gigging and recording because I see how instruments interconnect. My 6 years of experience includes working with 412 students who want to build DYNAMICS AND EXPRESSION into their sound. Keys clicking under your fingers should feel like a natural extension of your creative thoughts. I use my BFA Contemporary Music Performance from USC Thornton to ensure you handle chords and melodies with grace.
We start with a diagnostic playing assessment before we set a learning plan that fits your current level. This process ensures we hit 9 goals during our time together, focusing on technique and theory. My background in performing means I keep things honest and hands-on as we build your fluency. I look forward to hearing your progress from the bench soon.
