About Curt
Precision drives my approach to the guitar, often resulting in long hours spent perfecting tuning and maintenance. I admit that I am obsessed with the mechanical aspect of the instrument. Over 13 years, I have worked with hundreds of pupils.
My training covers electric and acoustic technique along with complex chord transitions. Reading sheet music and mastering barre chords are standard requirements in my curriculum. Ear training and power chords remain essential components of the work. It is satisfying to see students finally achieve total clarity in their playing.

Clean strings ringing out define the sound we pursue during our time together. Developing a methodical practice routine ensures that progress is audible within 8 short weeks.
My studio focus relies on the rigorous standards I maintained while earning a BMus at The Juilliard School. We systematically address the physical challenges of guitar performance.
Precise hand placement prevents injury and builds speed. Students learn to analyze music like a mathematician. Expect an environment where technical accuracy is prioritized above all else. I look forward to seeing your results at the end of our course.
