About Yara
"A BM Contemporary Music degree from AIM serves as the academic bedrock for my 13 years of experience. I have guided 444 students through the complexities of breath support and resonance. Having played the Australian Latin music scene for over 11 years, I understand the nerves that come with stepping into the spotlight.
My own path evolved from gigging musician to dedicated vocal mentor for the Latin diaspora. I find that teaching singing is a natural extension of my own background.
It is a joy to help adults and teens find their authentic sound. These sessions are built on the foundation of my degree and a decade of stage performance. I truly value the connection I build with every person I work with."

"Ever feel like your voice gets stuck in your throat right before you hit the high notes? It happens to the best of us, but we can fix that through specific warm-up exercises and belting technique.
My approach focuses on rhythm, phrasing, and managing stage fear so you can perform with ease. I provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice so your voice stays healthy between our meetings.
We work on sight singing and pitch control, whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced learner. You will see your vocal range extension happen through consistent, manageable steps. I also help you prepare for exams by refining your tone and resonance. Perhaps you might want to join me for a session to see how it feels?"
