About Sharla
Precision resonates through every string as I guide students from tentative first notes to polished performance level. My approach centers on the rigors of BMus training while meeting beginners or exam candidates exactly where they stand in their development. Having spent 3 years teaching guitar, I emphasize the mechanics of power chords, fingerpicking, and complex reading of sheet music.
I structure sessions around chord transitions, strumming patterns, and scales or modes to build solid foundations. Students often master barre chords and electric technique before we explore the deeper nuances of music theory to keep things.
