About Bonita
Statistics became my focus after graduating from Princeton with a BS in Mathematics and obtaining my official teaching credential. I spent 7 years refining a curriculum that prioritizes high school students, retakers, and those in honors AP courses who demand absolute clarity. My approach relies on keeping feedback specific and tracking progress against clear, measurable goals throughout the academic year.
Building sessions around the student in front of me remains my top priority during our work together. I reject the idea of passive learning because I want you to become an independent problem solver.
Reliance on a tutor is the opposite of the results I strive to produce. Direct, results-driven instruction defines my classroom style.
My AP Statistics coaching centers on the mechanics of pacing and the precise nature of free-response technique. High-level concepts like inference, sampling methods, and hypothesis testing require a no-nonsense perspective.
I treat your time with the respect it deserves by maintaining a sharp focus on exam-day success. You gain a partner who values your progress as much as you do. Let's take the first step toward mastering these topics with confidence.

Starting with a rigorous look at real past-paper practice, we jump immediately into the mechanics of the AP exam. Expect to analyze distributions, regression models, and probability alongside a Princeton-educated instructor who understands the specific hurdles of this curriculum.
Focusing on the 7 years I spent teaching AP Statistics, I bring a refined eye to your experimental design and chi-square test errors. We break down the complex logic behind the normal model so that every point is earned systematically. We will refine your FRQ techniques through focused drills and consistent timed practice. By centering our sessions on these practical requirements, we ensure you arrive at your testing center ready to dominate the statistics content.
