About Maria
Holding a Master of Science in Data Science from UC Berkeley, I see code as raw logic flickering across a dark monitor. My 13 years working as a quant in renewable energy informs how I approach technical hurdles. I have spent 5 years in FAANG roles focusing on complex machine learning engineering.
These days, I work with a range of people including university students, coding professionals, and younger learners. My teaching style is neurodivergent-affirming and rooted in direct communication.
I handle C++, Python, and JavaScript with technical precision. Object-oriented programming is a core competency I teach regularly.
HTML and CSS are also part of my repertoire for front-end structure. Problem solving on various coding platforms remains a primary focus for my advanced pupils. Data structures represent the bedrock of everything I teach. I am here to get the work done.
