About Clay
Graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music with an MMus in Music Performance provided me with a rigorous foundation. Do you find navigating complex musical passages feels overwhelming? I have spent 9 years helping pupils find clarity in their playing.
My approach centers on memorization techniques and rhythm and timing to build confidence. I focus heavily on chord voicing, posture, and hand position to create ease. Seeing a student finally grasp sight transposition or jazz improvisation is what makes my work so enjoyable.
