About Amelia
Teaching provides a way to distill 11 years of fintech quant work into clear lessons. Sitting at my desk at 2 AM debugging complex models taught me that clean code is the only way to survive.
I hold a Master of Science in Data Science from UC Berkeley and currently work as an ML engineer at a FAANG firm. These foundations allow me to bridge the gap between academic theory and the harsh realities of production environments. My work involves mentoring university students and advanced learners who want to master C++, Python, and Java.

You will learn to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. I require you to complete a hands-on mini project after every class. This ensures you apply theory to real files.
I use these exercises to simulate the pressure of technical interviews. My teaching style reflects my daily work as an engineer.
