About Owens
Clarity defines the space where we work together. We will start by reviewing your current spreadsheet design and identifying hidden structural risks. My approach utilizes my background at MIT Sloan to frame Excel not just as a grid, but as a critical database tool.
We will go deep into Power Query and what-if analysis to ensure your models are scalable. I prioritize teaching you how to build your own solutions so you can handle date and time functions without constant manual intervention. It feels good to see the logic click into place. I look forward to working through these systems with you.

Career switchers and professionals frequently come to me because they struggle with complex spreadsheets. I have to admit, I spent my first year in analytics fighting with formulas that broke the moment I added a single row. After graduating from MIT Sloan with an MBA and a BS in Computer Science, I realized that clean data architecture is more important than raw speed. My career spans 10 years of building models across various sectors.
I focus on INDEX and MATCH, nested IF logic, and pivot tables to make sense of messy information. I teach others how to design robust spreadsheets that stand up to actual business use. Small business owners often find that a few hours of training saves them days of repetitive work later. It is just the reality of modern office life.
